Bliss is that feeling you get when the moment is just right. When you free flow out into grace and love and safety. Bliss is feeling like you're in the right place at the right time. Good Deja Vu, or Kismet. Bliss is defined as, a state of perfect happiness, typically so as to be oblivious of everything else. Bliss is being so in the moment that all you feel is joy. Bliss is the space I am always striving to be in.
There are a lot of things in life that try to knock me out of that space. My main contenders are things like chronic pain, anxiety, and fatigue. I find myself caught up on these often, and if it's not one of these, its something more personal; a relationship, a disagreement, an ill family member ...there's always something to work through, to work on, to get out, to grow into. So is life.
In this ever-changing, often confusing world, I think we need to hold on to bliss as much as possible. Can you imagine what the world would look like if everywhere you went, people were feeling 'blissed out'? How would people treat each other? How would people treat themselves?
I believe if we all strive for bliss and alignment - everyone would be a little happier.
At this point, you may be wondering but: How do I stay in that state of bliss when there's always something else coming up? Well, that's what I personally set out to learn, and to be honest, I think I've discovered it! The trick is, there's no trick. It takes work and time, and energy and effort. It takes tools and practice, but I know it can be done, because I'm doing it.
